A visit to the local Inn ...

The most popular place to go in downtown Wittenberg is 'Die Kurfürsten Inn' (the Elector's Inn), where apart from being able to rent a room for the night you can ....

engage in jovial conversation.....

meet up before going to the opera.....

buy a few drinks ...

or indulge in coffee and cake....

have meal and a beer ....

The overall scene ...

Such warm and congenial surroundings, presided over, no doubt, by the buxom and comely bartender I see in the background, ever with a cheery word to the customers... A fine vignette, indeed!
Cheers,
Ion

We will have to ensure our Ambassador frequents this establishment to keep up with who is who and what is what in your realm...

What sort of Ale does mine host serve- a decent pub is hard to find in some towns. When I think of the liquid garbage I've had served to me..

EXCELLENT!! Well done Tidders. I'm curious though; are all of your tavern furnishings 1/2 scale dollhouse furniture? This is wonderful! - Mike

jutMike - The plain chairs and clock are 1/48 doll house accessories: tables with covers and the red chairs are from Eureka 28mm civilian sets; the two plain tables and bar were given too me (provenance unknown)
