At the palace .....

A lovely sunny day in the Kingdom of Wittenberg , at the palace the llamas are have a wander around the grounds....

The King, with family, plus local dignitaries enjoy a concert and march past by the guard bands...

The dignitaries leave in their coaches directed by the palace guard...

A governess and some children in her charge play by the fountain...

The palace guard are about to do their rounds.... 

Late in the afternoon the King and the Chancellor are meeting with surveyors and architects to discuss options for the renovation or alteration of the palace frontage....

The palace shelf diorama in my games room...between games storage and my garden railway locomotives.

the diorama has got very ''tired & faded" and needs a complete refurb; at the moment I need the shelf space for some additional storage while some remedial work is going to be done in the house.

So the diorama has been carefully dismantled and as much as possible saved for a re-build; it may be that the palace will have a complete new frontage - depending on the whim of King Leopold (including perhaps a larger ballroom?)
