An existing Imagi-Nation, Ruthenia, which is allied to Wittenberg against the Begovians (Ottomans) will now have its own little army. At the moment a couple of 17c Croat light horse units have journey'ed forward in time and act as volunteers with the Wittenberg field army.  |

The new Ruthenian army will be in 40mm and based on the Polish army of 1730s/WAS. It has foreign troops and national troops. The foreign troops are in western dress comprising infantry, dragoons and artillery; the national troops are still in a sort of 17th century look and comprise (winged) hussars, pancerni and light cavalry.
I've been out doing some casting in the garage last week, artillery and an infantry unit. I've finished prepping the artillery for painting today. It comprises Prince August cannon & limbers with some spare Irregular Miniatures wheels; the crew & draught horses are my own castings, the crew have been given some replacement Triguard heads.
