Nice sedan chair! It is a dignified way to travel and I wonder if it would qualify as carpooling in the modern world! The row house backdrop is really nice as well, those are Haller model railroad houses or some such, I suppose?
Jiminho: houses in the backdrop is an assembled HO model railway kit (maybe Faller) I picked up cheap at a Toy&Train fair - I've stuck some larger doors over the HO ones so things look a bit more in scale
A blog documenting the encounters between the armies of the imaginary nations of the Kingdom of Wittenberg and its neighbours (including the Kingdom of Monrovia and their allies). My inspiration being drawn from 'Charge or How to Play Wargames' by Young & Lawford and 'The Wargame' by Charles Grant.
I have a number of other period interests for wargaming (from ancients to WW2), these have their own blogs, see below.

That is very nice, sir. Wonderful period flavor.

John the OFM of TMP fame has got to see this picture. He is a sedan chair afficionado.
My first thought was, "OMG, John the OFM has made it to Wittenberg!"
