I ditched my old fortress guns which were way to big and out of scale and replaced them with two new ones - 'naval cannon' pencil sharpeners - The holes were covered up with some card and then the guns painted up, here they are shown below in a small fortlet (walls made from some old 1950's MiniBrix which I picked up at a Car Boot sale a couple of years ago).

Great use of the pencil sharpeners! There are some useful models in that range I remember (a steam traction engine for 15mm and a 54mm gramophone spring to mind).
ReplyDeleteThey look perfect and I like the fort
ReplyDeleteNice guns! I must keep an eye out. Could have used a dozen of these 2 years ago. Still could use some.
ReplyDeleteMarvellous guns, they suit the purpose perfectly.
