Wittenberg Legion - 2nd Battalion passes muster
The second battalion of the Wittenberg Legion, being supplied by the Duchy of Fenwick, has its final inspection.
Congratulations Colonel, a nicely turned out battalion - we will inform Major-General Dittelsdorf, that the Legion is ready to be deployed. Get your men ready for the journey.

I've been admiring not only your painting jobs, but also the wonderful backdrops you have behind them -- do you do those yourself, or do you purchase them somewhere?
A blog documenting the encounters between the armies of the imaginary nations of the Kingdom of Wittenberg and its neighbours (including the Kingdom of Monrovia and their allies). My inspiration being drawn from 'Charge or How to Play Wargames' by Young & Lawford and 'The Wargame' by Charles Grant.
I have a number of other period interests for wargaming (from ancients to WW2), these have their own blogs, see below.

most backdrops I use are made by UK company called Peco for model railways, info on a previous post
