Wittenberg - Line Infantry Regiment

IR 12 on parade. Two members of the general staff are doing their final inspection before the regiment marches to join the rest of troops at the muster camp near Hausenberg.

Very nice! I wouldn't've thought gray/green/yellow combination would look good, but it does here.

I suspect they are 'hisrorical', yet I cannot 'place' them (then I did not memorize thz whole Knötel)... ?

The uniform is that of one of Kreis Regiments of Saxony.
