40mm - Jager Detachment

A small detachment of Wittenberg jagers searching the woods for the brigands.

Some more figs for my 40mm skirmish games. I used some Nurnberger Meisterzinn moulds to cast these.

I have found the usual problem - each manufacture defines 40mm as something slightly different, however there is not too much discrepancy between Irregular Miniatures(42mm), Front Rank AWI Range (40mm) and the figures I cast.

Very nice. I to enjoy casting figures. It seems that the larger figures cast more easily and complete than the 25mm.

It would be interesting to see a side-by-side figure comparison of the various ranges you have . . . and your comments on the strengths and weakness of each.

I like the painting on these you have got a real richness to the colours, without being too toy like.

I have enjoyed reading your blog.

thanks for the effort.
