Begovian Army - Horse Archers - WIP
The 40mm ottoman style horse archer, has got into a mould so I cast up enough horse archers (added some bows made from wire), plus some horses to make a unit up for the Begovian army....
need to get these painted to take part in the upcoming action....
A scurrilous looking lot, indeed. I look to see them out raiding the farms and villages that dot the Wittenberg. Will you rate them as the hordes of light cavalry which went out in front of the Ottoman Army as it attempted to seize Vienna?
A blog documenting the encounters between the armies of the imaginary nations of the Kingdom of Wittenberg and its neighbours (including the Kingdom of Monrovia and their allies). My inspiration being drawn from 'Charge or How to Play Wargames' by Young & Lawford and 'The Wargame' by Charles Grant.
I have a number of other period interests for wargaming (from ancients to WW2), these have their own blogs, see below.
