At the Hunting Lodge ....
King Leopold, his son Prinz Albrecht and niece Lady Karolin have travelled to the royal hunting lodge on the edge of the Sackwald forest. They will stay there for a few days before returning to the capital for the christmas festivities. The morning after their arrival they have gone out to the stables to see the horses ....
A blog documenting the encounters between the armies of the imaginary nations of the Kingdom of Wittenberg and its neighbours (including the Kingdom of Monrovia and their allies). My inspiration being drawn from 'Charge or How to Play Wargames' by Young & Lawford and 'The Wargame' by Charles Grant.
I have a number of other period interests for wargaming (from ancients to WW2), these have their own blogs, see below.

I always enjoy your vignettes that are staged in a palace room, on the grounds of the palace, or in other vignettes such as this one.
Is the palace going to be decorated for Christmas? Perhaps a tree or two in the Orangery?
Congrats for this new beautiful picture...
Great little scene.
An ordinary scene, posted in an extraordinary way. Lovely work Allan. ;)
