'Furniture shopping' ....

A visit to downtown Wittenberg to the establishment of Schafer and Wurm - furniture and cabinet makers by royal appointment to the King. 

In the warehouse a visitor from the palace is checking on the progress of a new four poster bed ....
 Meanwhile in the main showroom a customer places an order for a set of chairs ....

Camp scene ...

I finished off some small camp vignettes today; Redoubt figs on left and from Perry AWI camp set on the right

a couple of Front Rank horses and a spare Old Glory officer....

Having finished the new vignettes above I set out all my tents, accessories and other figs etc to create a camp scene...

Wittenland Army Corps Chevaux-Legers

The King has made a short journey outside the capital to review the cavalry of the Wittenland army corps; consisting of the Prinz Albrecht and Graf Bruhl chevaux-legers regiments which have recently been brought back up to full strength.

The regiments trot out, with Prinz Albrecht taking the lead .....
 The king rides forward to carry out a closer inspection .....
