The King and his new coach ...
King Leopold and his family are about to depart for the inauguration of the new Mayor of the city of Wittenberg. The newly restored state coach has been made ready and an escort from the Chevalier Gardes has been provided.
Your coach is outstanding, the Reich Duke is envious! Where did you find figures of children? I guess its time for the Grand Tour to move on. I hope King Leopold IV of Wittenberg was pleased to be named Knight Commander, Ancient and Honorable Order of the Tankard...
A blog documenting the encounters between the armies of the imaginary nations of the Kingdom of Wittenberg and its neighbours (including the Kingdom of Monrovia and their allies). My inspiration being drawn from 'Charge or How to Play Wargames' by Young & Lawford and 'The Wargame' by Charles Grant.
I have a number of other period interests for wargaming (from ancients to WW2), these have their own blogs, see below.

Yeah, the coach cleaned up nicely! I like the blue and gold combination. It's a color combo I've used on many of my dwarves. :D

That really is a coach fit for a tiny King...

A truly magnificient, glorious carriage!
Would make an Emperor, and *does* make so many wargamers, envious.
The figures for the King's children are from the Minifigs 25mm range, I think they were :
WAGX 6 Two Early 19th Cent Ladies - Standing
WAGX 8 Early 18th Cent Lady & Gentleman - Standing
