A gift for the Reich Duke of Beerstein.
In gratitude for receiving the Ancient and Honorable Order of the Tankard from Reich Duke of Beerstein, King Leopold presented the Reich Duke with a tankard
and a supply of fine ales for his enjoyment on the next leg of his grand tour.
It is a very fine gift indeed . . . unfortunately the "Grand Tour" has already passed through the Principality of Saxe-Bearstein, so they will not find any brews as fine as they enjoyed here.
Of course they may decide to return to our Principality in order to properly fill your fine gift with the finest brews imaginable.
A blog documenting the encounters between the armies of the imaginary nations of the Kingdom of Wittenberg and its neighbours (including the Kingdom of Monrovia and their allies). My inspiration being drawn from 'Charge or How to Play Wargames' by Young & Lawford and 'The Wargame' by Charles Grant.
I have a number of other period interests for wargaming (from ancients to WW2), these have their own blogs, see below.
