40mm : Saxe-Jarlsberg Troops on the move

Before tidying away the scenery from my last ECW game I decided to re-use the scenery to setup the troops for Saxe-Jarlsberg (Wittenbergs opponent in the border wars to the south-west). Currently have 3 battalions infantry, jager company,12 figs of  cavalry and 1 artillery piece.

A closeup of the grenadier battalion ...

A look at the cavalry fording the river ...

[figures:
Infantry - from Prince Agust moulds; Cavalry - Irregular Miniatures riders with horses from Creartec moulds; Artillery: gun Irregular Miniatures ; crew various converted figs; limber/horse/outrider - from Nürnberger Meisterzinn  moulds]

Hi Allan,

Your 18th Century set-up is wonderful! Your grenadiers are especially nice looking, and your figures in general make a very string case for home casting.

Best Regards,

Stokes

Agh! "string" should read "strong". Grumble, grumble.

A string case to keep my castings in :) ?

I love casting the 40mm figures, its a real joy when they pop out of the mould ..
