The Army of the Principality of Munkasse

Due to the increasing border scuffles with their neighbour the Duchy of Noverre, Prince Micheal of Munkasse has order the army to muster and to stand ready to repel any further border incursions.

---oXo---

The army has mustered at the village of Klosthavern near the capital ...

Prince Michael has arrived to have a look at the assembled army....
The militia battalion and the light troops.....
The artillery with the commander ....
The cavalry, two regiments of dragoons
The infantry, line infantry regiment and the grenadiers.

---oXo---

For an upcoming campaign game set, I've added a commander plus artillery to the line regiment and grenadiers I already had. To bulk up the army I've used my generic militia battalion and borrowed some light infantry and cavalry from one of my other imagi-nations armies not involved in the campaign.

The Kings issue of 'Hat Digest' had arrived earlier and he would have preferred to be reading that than listen to the droning voice of Munster's assistant.

Gerald the pookah appeared, invisible to the others present; he was in a mischievous mood making faces and jumping up and down making silly sounds. The King only just managed to keep a straight face....
The assistant droned on "...bla... bla... the border dispute between ... fumph fumlp bla bla blaa.. Munkasse... bla bla....." .

The King to get some relief from the antics of Gerald turned and faced the assistant asking "Munkasse, isn't that some little state allied to Monrovia?"

The door slammed, Gerald had left - most likely to find Brother James and have some sherry and play cards.

The assistant replied: "Yes your majesty. The border dispute between them and the Duchy of Noverre may escalate into war. We also have a just received a letter form the Herzog of Saxe-Jarlsberg to inform us their army is standing by to support their neighbour Munkasse".

A few minutes later the briefing finished, the Count and his assistant left.  The King opened his desk drawer and got out "Hat Digest' and absorbed himself reading about the latest fashion trends in tricorns...
