Found at a nearby emporium in the garden section ..... suitable for use as a Chateau or Schloss....
out of the box, but the solar panel for the lighting (which cycles through 3 colours) is inset in the rear of the roof so the hole needs filling in and a new roof section adding.
I opted to cover over the hole in the rear part of the roof and put on some 4Ground tiles
and a new front entrance made up from card ....
roof repainted, and the new entrance painted to match; a suitable country residence .....
it will serve as a fortress, when used in conjunction with my small fort wall sections
Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteFantastic work as usual Allan! I really like the fortress.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite impressive, Alan. Will the Begovians attempt a surprise visit one wonders?
ReplyDeleteQuite inspired
ReplyDeleteWho knew that "The Prisoner Of Zenda" was really set in Wittenberg and not Ruritania? No doubt the names were changed to protect the innocent.
ReplyDeleteGreat find Alan :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! You seem to have quite the knack for finding pieces like this and making improvements to fit your armies.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, and the scale is good too
ReplyDeleteMichael
Excellent could be used in several scenario's from the Scottish Jacobites to the seven years war etc.

ReplyDeleteGreat work Allan. Those pre-cut tiles you used...I can't find them on the Sally 4th site.
ReplyDeleteThey look different from the deluxe roofing tiles, etc. Where did you find them? Do you have a link?
Thanks. :)
Cheers
Paul
