A Cracking Read ...

My companion for the last couple of days while I'm trying to shake off a stinking cold has been 'Raid on St Michel' by Charles S Grant and Phil Olley, available from Caliver Books. A lovely little book, containing five table top teasers, all set in sequence as a mini-campaign. (Only the cover photos are in colour). Definitely worth adding to your library.

  1. I've been wondering about this one . . . what are the force sizes suggested for the "campaign"?

  2. And what period is it written for? (I know the TT's can usually be easily adapted to other periods, but I'm curious)

Since I didn't get any gaming stuff for Christmas I ordered some books from OMM just last night, including the Wargame Companion. Looks like I might have another order to make soon... lol

  3. Campaign is set in 18C, size of forces approx 10 regiments of infantry and 5 of cavalry per side.
